I love your gallery. If only I was as good as you are at modeling. :( I need to know your technique!

Thanks for the comments!

To be honest, there is no magic technique, it comes down to what works best for each artist. Modeling is just a matter of practice and work flow. For me, work flow is essential. It keeps me from spinning my wheels. I use 3DSMax, ZBrush, Photoshop and others. It took me a while to figure out how they all work together to create a good final product. So whatever you happen to be using, finding a good work flow will turn a frustrating experience into a rewarding project.
I use all of those. I guess I just need a lot more practice.

Well, since you use the same programs, here's my workflow. I like to create a clean, simple model in 3Dsmax first, using polygonal modeling. I then take that into Zbrush and work out the details. If I make any massive changes to the model, i bring it back into max, fix the polygons and then import it back into Z. You can re-topo in ZBrush (and I do sometimes) but max is easier for me. Hope this helps a little and keep creating (you'll get better)!
Thanks, that does.
